IUBAT Inaugurates Tree Plantation 2021

IUBAT Institutes of SDG Studies (IISS) and IUBAT Earth Chapter organized the first Tree Plantation event on June 17, 2021 at IUBAT campus with the help of RCE Greater Dhaka. Prof Dr. AbdurRab, Vice Chancellor; Professor Dr Mohammed Ataur Rahman, Director, IISS: Prof Md Lutfar Rahman, Registrar;Brig Gen Prof. Md. Zahid Hossain;the advisors of the chapter Dr Muhammad RehanDastagir, Deputy Director, IISS; Dr. Ferdous Ahmed, Assistant Director, IISS;Shanjida Sayed Soha, President of the youth group and the executive and general members of this chapter. IUBAT Earth Chapter made distribution of indoor tree saplings, tree plantation in the university campus.

IUBAT Earth Chapter is supported by Bangladesh Youth Environmental Initiative (BYEI) and partnership with RCE Greater Dhaka.The main goal of the program to raise awareness against Climate Change through workshops, seminars, tree plantation programs and event work on small and large environmental projects throughout Bangladesh.
